About Wolf's Heart Lodge...
|
As a child she had a recurring dream of being attacked by a very large wolf and she saved herself by grabbing the strong jaws of the wolf and splitting the wolf in two. Later in life that wolf, pure white, came pouring out of the top of her head and offered it's heart for her to eat to sustain her true Spirit and bring meaning to her Red Road life which was just beginning in earnest. She was instructed to begin a ministry in her home and to call it WOLF'S HEART LODGE dedicated to the teachings of the ancient aniyunwiya--the real human beings and her Spirit Keeper, Waya (the wolf). "Daughters of the Earth," a drumming/teaching circle-community for women was started and meets in several locations on the full moon of each month. "Sons & Daughters of the Earth" was added as men were welcomed on the New Moon of each month. These give-away circles have been blessed by many, many Elders from many tribes over their years of existence and places of meeting. We aim to serve our Creator thru purity of thought, word and deed. We are activists for all indigenous people of the Earth. And we understand the importance of the voice, indeed the vibration of indigenous language and Spiritual practice in maintaining beauty and balance on Mother Earth. We understand the sacred balance that must be protected and maintained through our right action on behalf of conservation and preservation of our American wilderness, including urban areas. We understand that we are all One in Spirit. That we are one not only with our Creator, our families, clans, and tribes, but also with other human beings around the world and with all of nature, including a tiny grain of sand and the farthest galaxy. We invite those of you
